Since the customer booked us before the springs could break and not after, removing them was safer and easier than many of our spring projects. After loosening the torsion caps and easing the tension out of the springs, we removed them and cleaned and oiled the spindles. We then installed the new pair of springs, tightened them in place, and tested the door.
